Acting II

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to develop previously learned concepts in Acting I, while introducing new topics including Stage Combat, Puppetry, and Monologues, and Devised Theatre.

All students are expected to have proper attire and footwear for class.

Other public appearances are available upon request.

TOPICS

Puppetry - Shadow, Hand, Trash, Full Body

Commedia Dell'Arte - Physicality, Mask Work, Improvisation

Stage Combat - Hand to Hand, Single Sword (if time allows)

Scenes - Monologues, Two person scenes, Small ensemble scenes

Devised Theatre - 6-10 minute student created pieces based on renowned theatre practitioners. Optional presentation at Camden County Teen Arts Festival
